Arriving at the Building

There is a parking lot with a couple of parking spots reserved for visitors on the west side of the building. The main entrance to the church is on the east side of the building under the covered porch.

You will be greeted at the door when you enter. These greeters will help you with any needs you might have. Once you enter the auditorium you can sit anywhere you wish.

What happens during worship?

Every Sunday worship service includes the following elements: announcements, prayers, congregational singing (without instruments), Lord's Supper, giving, Bible reading, and a biblically focused sermon. The lesson is normally 25-30 minutes long. We hope you find it refreshingly Bible-centered and applicable to your life. The NRSV translation is used during the preaching but you are encouraged to use whatever translation you feel most comfortable using.

We share in the Lord's Supper on a weekly basis. We invite all Christians eat unleavened bread (representing the body of Jesus) and drink a small cup of grape juice (representing the blood of Jesus).  When you enter the auditorium you can get a small plastic container containing the bread and juice. You do not have to participate in this celebration but all Christians are encouraged to share together.

As a visitor you will not be singled out during the service but you can expect to be approached by other members who want to personally meet you and welcome you. 

At the close of our time together, if you need help or would like the prayers of the congregation, you can let us know by talking to our preacher or one of the elders

Childcare:

During our Sunday morning and Wednesday night Bible classes, there are classes for children of all ages (including nursery). During our Sunday am worship we do have a nursery available (for children two years old and younger) but we do not provide childcare. During the preaching portion of our Sunday services we have Children's Church for children 3-5 years old (Sept - May).

 

What is Expected of You?

We hope that you will participate in the worship service. But don’t feel obligated. Just observe if that is your choice.

Also, if you would, when you visit, fill out a visitor card on the table at the back of the auditorium. This simply provides information so that we can write, call or e-mail to thank you for your visit.
